Submit a News Item

  • This page enables you, as an authorised user, to submit a News Item that may be of interest to members of the Society.
  • When you submit your News Item, it will be published immediately but it will be reviewed by the administrators to ensure the content is relevant and appropriate.  The administrators may move, edit or delete your News Item.

Submit a News Item

  • Please enter the News Item Title.

    Please select one or more categories for the News Item.

  • Please enter a brief excerpt for the News Item.

  • If you upload an image for the News Item, it will be used as the Featured Image.  A Featured Image represents the contents, mood, or theme of the News Item.

  • You can do a copy-and-paste of the contents of a document with a mixture of images and text directly into the News Item Body above.  The formatting will be preserved and the images should be copied with the text.

  • Date Format: DD slash MM slash YYYY

    Once the expiration date has been reached, the News Item will be automatically moved into the Archives category and will no longer be displayed with other News Items.

  • A confirmation email will be sent to this address when the News Item is published.
