Presented by the Blackberry Jam Bush Band: Blackberry Jam is renowned for its fun, entertaining bush dances and entertainment for all occasions.  Entertainment can include their Emily the Emu character, didgeridoo, whip cracking and saw playing and many rollicking Australiana tunes and songs.  Blackberry Jam has performed for dances to the delight of many, many thousands of groups and organisations over the past 15 years.

 

The Bush Dance promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with lively music, traditional Australian dances, and the camaraderie of friends and neighbours.  This event is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate our rich cultural heritage.

The night will feature live music, experienced dance callers, and a welcoming atmosphere for attendees of all ages and dance abilities.  Whether you’re an expert dancer or simply looking to have a good time, the Bush Dance has something for everyone.

Please remember to bring your own refreshments for the evening, as this will be a BYO (Bring Your Own) event.  It’s a chance to enjoy your favourite snacks and beverages while taking part in the festivities.  We encourage you to pack a picnic basket with your preferred treats to ensure a delightful and comfortable experience, or buy refreshments at the café before 4 pm.  This is a family event and will be alcohol free.

Tickets:

  • Adult (person aged 16 years and over): $35.00
  • Concession (Pensioners, Seniors, Full-time Students, Apprentices): $28.00
  • Family1 (1 Adult plus children aged 15 years and under): $45.00
  • Family2 (2 Adults plus children aged 15 years and under): $80.00

To secure your tickets for this event, we offer three convenient options:

  1. Online: You can purchase tickets online at this address: buy tickets online  Simply visit the website, select the number of tickets you need, and complete the secure online payment process.  You will receive your ticket(s) by email, which you can print or download to your smartphone.  The closing date for these bookings is 4 November 2023.
  2. By Post: If you prefer to purchase tickets by mail, please download this ticket order form and mail it, along with your payment, to the address provided on the form. Once we receive your order, we will send your tickets to the address you provide.  The closing date for these bookings is 20 October 2023.
  3. At the Door: Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the event. While we encourage you to buy your tickets in advance to secure your spot, we will have a limited number of tickets available for purchase on-site.

Entrance to the venue: When arriving at the venue, please note that the front entrance to the Visitors Centre will not be in use for this event.  Instead, we kindly ask you to use the side gate located to the left of the Visitors Centre.  Volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and guide you to the Shearing Shed, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
